The Takesyo company is a relative newcomer to the jika-tabi market but has already come out with some impressive designs incorporating zippers into jika-tabi construction. These zipper jika-tabi have soft natural rubber soles and a mostly cotton construction, but to allow the shoe to adjust to different foot shapes it also incorporates several stretchy vinyl patches.

The heel shape makes their design unique among jika-tabi for enhanced strength, support, and shock absorbancy. The double stitched seams also improve durability while the white-on-black coloration gives these jika-tabi a extra style boost. The top of the zipper is kept closed with a small velcro flap to ensure these jika-tabi stay on and stay put.
